Spinel is found in many different colors ranging from dark red to pale blue. The material has a very good hardness rating on the Mohs scale around 8, making this ideal for everyday wear in piercing jewelry as well as traditional jewelry applications.
The front of the jewelry (item in the listing) is designed to thread into a universal threadless post of your choosing, which can be purchased here or from your local piercer. We created this piece from a hand picked rose cut spinel in 14kt yellow gold.
